In accordance with Regulation 14 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015, the Regulations are not applicable to this procurement. NOTE: This contract opportunity is voluntarily published in the Official Journal of the European Union for publicity purposes only, and is not pursuant to the requirements of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 or Directive 2014/24/EU. DFID has committed to the production and use of high quality evidence, data and innovation to accelerate progress towards the Global Goals. Following extensive internal and global consultation, the following areas were identified as being gaps and an opportunity for the UK to intervene, given our relativestrengths: (i) Building stronger and more resilient health systems (ii) Improving the health of the world’s most vulnerable, including sexual and reproductive health, mental healthand maternal, newborn and child health, (iii) Tackling infectious diseases DFID will coduct a competitive lotted procurement process covering the three areas above, with suppliers able to participate in one or more Lots. DFID reserves the right to exercise its discretion and award more than one contract per Lot. Contracts will not be awarded equally across lots (for example 3 in each lot), but rather could be awarded as 3 in one lot, two in another for example:. • Health Systems (2 – 4 contracts); • Vulnerable Groups (at least 3 contracts) • Infectious Diseases (1 -2 contracts); The maximum value range of each contract will be between £6m and £8m
